That is normal from the fluid being thrown around.
No issues there.

Hey in reference to the P0420 above, can that occur due to an evap leak? I had that code and a gross leak evap code. I replaced the purge solenoid and both codes have disappeared, and engine light off but p0420 is now labeled as a historic fault if I scan the system.

No, there is no connection of the codes.
The 420 may be cleared but will come back. It has to fail its own internal test 3 times and light will come back.
Clearing codes does nothing as the issue needs to be addressed.

I understand that, but I'm used to the p0420 coming back immediately.

It should not comeback right away. It is a 3 trip reset. When you clear it, all it does is make the ECM forget the code.
