My transmission not shifting properly can we fix it?

Truck doesn’t shift correctly, it shifts from second to fourth speed the transmission guy rebuild transmission but truck still with the same problem. Truck listed above engine is a 5.3.

What did the guy rebuild in the transmission? When you say he rebuilt it that normally means he went through the entire unit and replaced all seals, bands, and clutch discs. Also, he goes through the valve body and replaces solenoids that need to be replaced. The fact that you took it in with this issue and it left with the exact same issue, tells me he did not do a rebuild. Maybe he dropped the pan and flushed the fluid or even replaced some components but the fact that it still does what it did before it went in tells me he either didn't do that or reused some bad components.

More than likely you have a solenoid or valve body issue. I would suggest taking it back and telling him that he didn't fix what you paid him to fix.

The truck still in the shop he said that the solenoid is not getting enough electricity. He is hiring an electrician to come and solve the problem.
