Grinding noise left rear wheel

Sorry I didn't get to reply. Got a little busy.

Well for the belt I was leaving the tensioner as the last thing I pull the belt over. But now I think I will try to pull it over the water pump last because it has no lip for me to go over.

I have attached a video. Does that sound like a bad wheel bearing to you?

Wow! That sounds like brakes (actually it sounds like drum brakes). I guess it could be a bearing, but to me it sounds like a brake issue. Nothing changes it, correct?

Well, if I ride fast it gets really really loud. Guess that come from heat generation.

Well, it certainly sounds like a brake issue and it could be a bearing, but my first suspect is the brakes. If I recall, you replaced the brake caliper and pads. Were the rotors done too? Also, are you certain nothing is stuck in one of the brake pads like rust or a small stone? Do the new pads seem to be wearing evenly? Any marks on the rotor?

I changed everything when I changed the pads. I changed the rotors, one caliper, brake hardware and pads. Even the brake fluid.

On the first caliper before I changed it the pads were wearing unevenly, but not now.

I just took off the wheel this morning. There is nothing in the brake pads. I did change them back to the more expensive one I have this morning. Nothing in between the rotor and dust shield.

I did noticed two small things though. The side that's making noise has more drag than the other side. Also, if I were to remove one of the caliper guide pins and raise that side like a clam-shell to check the pads, when I try to put it back down I have to rotate the Piston so it fits. That doesn't happen on the other side. Just goes down like normal.

One last thing I noticed when I took the tire off is when I am rotating the rotor it would reach a point where it drags noticeably and them moves easier. It does this for each rotation. This is with the caliper and brakes on and the wheel off.

What you described when turning it indicates a warped rotor. It may not be bad enough to feel when driving, but I'm not sure why you have to screw the piston back in then you try to put things together. Do me a favor. Disconnect the parking brake cable from that side and then reinstall the caliper after you screw it back down. Do it so there is little to no drag on the wheel. Then drive it to see if the noise is gone. Also, with one side of the parking brake disconnected, you will not have a functional parking brake on either side. Don't expect it to work. I wonder if the parking brake is hanging up on that side.

I was thinking the same thing. I went and loosened the parking brake adjuster bolt as much as I could and still heard the noises coming from the rear wheel.

I wonder if the flexible brake hose is damaged from the inside and not letting the fluid escape once the brake pedal is released.

I am going to check and see if the parking brake cable is hanging up on my day off and let you know.

That is very possible. To determine it that is the issue, open the bleeder on the caliper to release the pressure. See if that changes it.

I'll try that and see what happens.

Let me know if the noise is gone when you do it. I'm really curious if that is the issue. The rubber brake hoses can go bad internally and create enough restriction to prevent the fluid from returning to the master cylinder. However, when you press the brake, you and the vehicle are strong enough to force pressure past it to the caliper. I hope it something that simple.

Yeah me too... I ordered the brake hose since it is only like 6 dollars. Got one from Raybestos.

Also got a press-in wheel bearing and hub just in case.

I did see a video where the parking brake cable doesn't fully release due to build up on the hook lever behind the spring... So between those three things it should be one of them.

I have ruled out the brake master cylinder as the problem is only on one side.
