1998 Ford Ranger transmission fluid pump not pumping

its a vacuum resevoir for the dash (heater controls). A PCV valve is part of the emissions system,it wouldnt hurt to replace it.

My truck still isn't running right. I replaced the o-ring at the junction between the intake manifold and the EGR valve. That seems to have solved most of it but I just did a compression test and the results weren't good. I'm going to start a new thread about it.
