i dont konw why im not geting no spark i change the coil but still no spark

I have a 97 Chrysler Sebring convertible when trying to start it I get a clicking noise like the starter is trying to start but it won't. The fuel pump is not coming on, there is no spark to the spark plugs, and the check engine light has been on for a long while.

Ok, have you had the battery checked or tried to jump start it? If not try to jump start it. If starts drive to local parts store and have them test the battery. While there ask them to pull codes.

FYI - there will not be any spark at the plugs if the car won't turn over. The fuel pump will only come on long enough to pressurize the fuel system which is only about 2 - 3 seconds, unless the vehicle starts.
