Wont crank

what would be the cause for the ECM to not record faults when on board dash shows faults and vehicle is disabled due to faults? I ran an OBDII test and it read NO FAULTS. How can this be? Desperate for help. Thank You.

your problem is the central processor unit the location of the unit is just behind the dashboard pannel on the passenger side check you have a power supply to the brown wire on the six pin plug before replacing the unit
