keyless entry works but several gauges like fuel, speedo, error msg's such as low tire pressure, check gas cap, check oil, things of that nature dont work. I'll personally check the security light tonite when I do the noid testing on the injectors. Anything else?

There asking if the check engine light works when you turn the key to the run position without starting it.The control circuit for the light runs from the pcm to the cluster then to the blub.

will have to dis-assemble the inst. cluster to do that test or is there a certain connector pin that I need to check? The security light check will be done as soon as i get home

ok at this time the security light is on and blinking prior to inserting the key and remains that way through the starting process. Next pulled one front injector connector off and installed the noid light. the light came on and was flashing. did this test twice just to be sure

You should have checked all the injector harnesses to make sure there flashing. Also thats strange that the security light is on and flashing and you still have injector pluse. When the security is active it disables injector pluses. Also are you sure all those codes were the correct ones?Because i couldnt find any of the B codes listed and i think only one of the U codes listed that P0440 was listed and the P0650 was also listed. So does the check engine light on and stay on with the key in the run position?

yeah I understand what you're saying about the security system. The mech. in WV was able to bypass something to get it to run and I cant find aynthing that give me a clue as to where he might have done the work. Ok tonite I'll run the noid test on all injectors and run the code tester again. but as far as the rest of the codes go they are all correct, I wrote them down as I read the tester

So its running now since that guy bypassed something? If so then there is no need to check for injector pluse now. That would also explain the injector pluse with the security light on and flashing.

The bypass could explain the fuel injectors still plusing with the security light on.Has the security light been on since the bypass?

Are there wire harnesses only for engines or would I have to purchase the whole car harness?
