Engine stalls while driving?

Remove the vacuum line to the brake booster and plug it. Does it still shut off when you hit the brakes?
If yes then check the booster for a vacuum leak.
If no then go under the dash and look for loose or damaged wires around the brake pedal and lever. The column harness is there and it is possible it is rubbing when the brake is depressed.
