I found Goodyear by my house and got a 4.9 rating and I have appt Sunday morning for new battery ($130.00) with longer warranty and clean my fuel injectors $109.00 but they will match any coupons. They seem nice and said they will check on codes etc. :)

I took my car to Goodyear. They check battery twice and they said its good and so is starter and alternator? So I had fuel injectors cleaned out.. were very gunky. Engine light is caused by a small leak in EVAP system they say P0456, but they would have to do a smoke test. which didn't do today. due to $125.00 and then cost to fix it. Is it worth it? I do notice a decline in my gas mileage. Paying $30.00 a week now and drive 26 miles a day round trip to work. First two weeks I had great gas mileage. :(

Sure it is worth it just in fuel savings alone and the fact that it will run better.

Right now I have Engine failure Service now on car and twice when I turn it on. First time it showed up twice. No codes.

You need to get the injectors cleaned.

I had injectors all cleaned. A bit later when I got in my car at home message came up three times and was acting rough like I pushed hard on gas in park then message actually went away. No codes when I went back up to Goodyear. They suggested dealership??

How did they clean the injectors?

They took almost hour checking car over and tested battery twice too

I am concerned that they did not do the correct method of cleaning the injectors. That process alone takes about one hour or more.

Can you upload the receipt of the repair for me to view?

They matched a coupon I found online. They said they thoroughly cleaned and was a lot of gunk.

That's what I thought. They did not clean the injectors. They cleaned the intake manifold of all carbon.

That is not the service they needed to do.

They also did an 80 point check on vehicle. nothing explains engine fault messages. :(

I went in and talked to the guy from yesterday who is the manager and he said my fuel injectors were cleaned out. induction system stating they hook up to machine and cleans whole system and all injectors. What he said.

That does not clean the inside of the injector. It cleans the tip.

How do I get it diagnosed? I asked about it at Goodyear because I just had it up there so I went back and couldn't help without codes or seeing anything.

I do not know anyone in your area. I wish I knew someone who could help you.

My last car was parked in a lot and was totaled by an uber driver. He had no personal insurance and uber couldn't help cause he wasn't logged in. So I had to use some savings to buy this car cause I have to have a car for me and my child. I hope it is a good car though. I bought it from someone my brother got his cars from. It was really low price.

Every time after I get gas I turn key and nothing. But always starts when I turn the key the second time. And how is it that O'Reillys said I first needed a charge on my battery and second time said I needed a new battery. When I went to Goodyear to but a battery they said they tested it twice and its perfectly fine.

O Reillys is a parts store. They employ parts salesman. They are not technicians.

It could be dirty battery cables. I wish I was there as I would have resolved all this for you.

Battery cables aren't loose and no corrosion. But can't see behind as it is kind of buried like under dashboard.
