Ohming does not check it.

You need a scan tool to see if there is an RPM reading to the ECM.

Do you have a scan tool that can read RPM?

if the sensor was bad, it would code.

Okay, how many volts to the wire?

The grounding or control for the coil is the ECM. It has to see the signal from the crank sensor that the engine is moving before it will allow spark.

I attached the location of the sensor. I would replace this since you have no signal to the ECM.

It was the crank sensor. Really appreciate the help. Bought one on eBay 8 months ago and never really ran right. Hard to restart after it heated up. Didn't suspect a new part. But that's what it was. Thanks again.
