Hi, I seen that you responded to a previous person close to my subject, I'm not getting power to fuse 44 which states it's the lift gate fuse but getting consistent power to other fuses LGM under hood and OBS Det in car, as well as BCM. from what I'm told fuse 44 gets power from 175 little fuse coming from battery... possible short or is this fuse intermittent? Tried hitting key fob and buttons to see if 12-volts will pass through it but nothing.

please any help would be grateful.

Good morning,

The fuse is powered by the relay. Once the relay is energized, it will pass current through the fuse to the window.

The relay is non-serviceable. It is part of the fuse block itself.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-wiring

You would need to verify power from the BCM to the relay to rule out the BACM as the failure. I highlighted the wire for you to test.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi Roy,

I'm not seeing this PCB Relay for liftgate sir, any idea which one? I have a relay that is actually outside of the fuse box that has the same color wire as the motor to gate..

It is internal in the fuse block. You will not be able to see it or touch it. It is part of the fuse block itself.

You need to verify power from the BCM at the dark green wire as that is what feeds the relay.

i honestly can't even tell which green wire, I'm seeing green wires. not really a dark green but I'm still looking, is it coming from behind fuse box against fire wall?

Look directly at the BCM itself. There are only three wires on the connector, and one is the dark green wire to the fuse block.

trying to figure this out, I'm seeing a port with three wires... looks like a light green wire, but I'm not seeing those other colors next to it as shown in diagram.

No stripe. The color is dark green.

Let me see if I can get a connector diagram for you.

I attached the connector diagram for you. I circled the wires that need power for the relay to work.

Roy thank you for your time, sir, the information I'm sure is leading me in the right direction per your expertise, just wanted to say thanks. I will go out shortly again and check, the only thing is I'm not seeing those particular colors together. do you happen to know which connector that is being that they are color coded?

It does not define the color. You need to match up the wires with the connector. It is time-consuming.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

I opened up BCM to see if anything is burnt, just to get a visual. Just let me know where to go from here.

If there is no voltage, the BCM is bad and must be replaced and programmed to your VIN number.

There is no fixing it. It requires replacing the module.

Hey sir, just got the BCM in and no voltage again... Is it possible there is a short that is stopping this voltage? Is there a wiring layout to where the power is coming in to give power to that particular wire?

The wiring was attached to your questions a while back.

Did you have it flashed to the VIN number after installation?

So, there is a light blue wire that from what it looks like should have voltage, but it does not.

It was a dark green wire that feeds the relay, not blue.

Hi, on that little fuse 175, should i have continuity going through the test leads from one side to the other? if i test it I do not, but if i test voltage from one side to the other I see voltage but no continuity.

HI, sorry to retract above, but I am seeing continuity from ends when its off, but the middle test points show no continuity. does this matter?

So, those ends I get continuity but leads in center I don’t, but when hooked up I get voltage touching leads but no continuity .

You need to go to the wire I have identified for you at least 2 times at the body control module.

That's where you test, nowhere else.

It's just crazy, I'm getting no warning about liftgate being open or window... I'm guessing that wire from BCM also provides power to signal warnings as well to my dash alerts?

No, that wire only controls voltage to the relay in the fuse block.

Did you use a new or used BCM?
