ignition no spark output?

The next step is to check the air gap of the pick-up coil in the distributor and also the pick-up resistances, and the ignition control module

Electrical problem
1977 Ford F150 V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

when my truck is cold it stars right up but if i drive it till the motor is at regular teperature it should be and turn it off it wont start till it cools down alll the way. it cranks over just wont start like its out of gas but its not getting spark i replaced the coil and tested it to the distributor no spark to the destributor.

i have replaced the ignition module to. i clened the plugs that that plugs into still nothin. i first thought maybe it was the coil because i tested the wire from the coil to the distributor and nothing when its hot so whatever it is is before the coil i believe

I have a 1991 Ford F-150, it died at a light and I had it towed home. Question is, I have changed the Coil,ICM,Pick-up in the Distributor, did the light test, checked the Voltage to the ICM from the SPOUT line Less than .5 volt ac, from the SPOUT split connection back to the PCM is 4.5 ac volts??? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks And if it is the PCM itself-Where is it?

You might check for a fuse box under the hood. My Explorer had a electronic engine controls relay that died on me and it turned out to be this relay. Mine is in the fuse box under the hood. If there are other like relays there, try switching them out and see what happens.

hello thanks for your time.i have a 1993 ford f150 with a 302 and 178,000 miles.it started running rough then died.it has power to both wires into the coil but no spark coming out of it.have tryed 2 diffrent coils.same results.have replaced the icm and the ignition switch also.should i try replacing the engine computer?and also where is it located?

Hello !!

check the pick-up coil and igniter...

With a 12 vdc light tester ..
Connect one end to the (-) side of the ignition coil and the other to the (+) side.. crank the engine and see if the light blinks (ON-OFF-ON-OFF) if not the problem its the pick-up coil or the igniter..
