heater not working?

my heater blows cold.. and are the hoses hooked up correctly, there are two going into the top of the water pump.. one short and one long.. which goes where

I have a question. With the engine running and the heater on, do both hoses get hot?

sorry this is a new system and have to get used to it lol. after your engine is warmed up check to make sureboth hoses areabout teh same temperature by feel. If one is cold then you can take your home water hose and hook it up and flush the heater core in both directions. You might have some junk in there. If bothhoses don't feel warm then you may need a new thermostat as it may not be getting up to temp.
