Sorry for the delay, somehow your post got shuffled to the bottom of the list. First remove the inner door panel (see pic for attaching points)
Then remove the speaker and inner door handle from door. Unbolt the window clamps on the regulator (see pic)
The regulator is a large assembly, so you will have to unclip all wiring from it and work it out from behind the harness.Unbolt and remove regulator (see pic for reg mounting bolts)

Hello,
The window will set itself. Put it up as high or as low as it will go. Then disconnect the the battery and let is sit for 20 minutes, then reconnect the battery this should reset the initialization.
Also make sure the new regulator is not bound up. I has seem new ones out of the box defective.
Please let me know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
Best, Ken

You will have to remove the door trim, disconnect the window motor and push the window up and chock it with a length of timber.

Just to add to this one you could try removing the inner door panel and tapping on the window motor with a hammer while rolling the window up.Sometimes you can get the windows up that way.

On my 2005 expeition, turning on lights or turning on ac triggers rear window latch and at the time if feels like the battery is being drained. Sometimes it even stalls.

both the headlight and doorlocks which is lift gate use the same ground behind right kick panel. that can be loose or a bad ground to the body altogether from the battery. they also use the same fuse.

could be a fusebox, BCM, or wiring issue. anything done to vehicle just prior to this starting to occur?

Thanks for the help gentlemen. The question posed by fixitmr has 2 answers. The battery was replaced 2 weeks ago and the ac evaporator was replaced 8 days before this started happening. The vehicle also needs a new compressor as it is only running at 50% and the intial back window latch trigger issue initially began when I turned on the ac and the compressor kicked in. It has now moved on to the door locks and the head lights.

It sounds like a bad switch. Check voltage to the motor and see if it is less than 12 volts when you put it in the up position.
Let me know what you find.

You have a weak window motor or binding up window glass. You will have to remove the inner door panel unhook the window glass from the window regulator and see if the window goes up without binding by hand. Its most likely a weak window motor though.

The power window for my front passenger window works perfect when controlling (up or down) from the front passenger door controls, however, when I try to control from drivers side, I can get window to roll down, but the up function does nothing (no noise and appears that there is some sort of disconnect). It is inconvenient because we always have to use the front passenger door control to get window to roll back up (it's a pain when I am driving by myself). I am thinking this is an issue with the drivers side main control panel switch or relay or maybe the contacts, but maybe I just need to do a default reset if that is applicable (car battery was changed recently). If it is a switch or relay, can you please let me know how to change and which one. Thank you! Steve

it 's probably the master switch because you don't use the one touch down feature with passenger operation. I'd have a pro check it first however it may be just the switch

The power window switch located on the driver side rear door panel does not work completely. I can get the window to lower, but it will not close using this switch. However, I can raise the window by using the main window controls located on the driver door panel. It don't think it's a motor problem because of this. Could it be a wiring or a fuse problem that will not allow the window to be raised by the switch on the rear driver-side door?

Merlin. thanks for the reply. I pulled the switch out to clean and inspect it. There wasn't anything mechanically wrong with it from what I could see. After I re-connected the switch without putting the panel back on, it would actually work sparingly. I don't think it was anything I did, rather just continuing to press the button. Is this a part that I can order from a Ford dealership or a local parts store?

Sunroof is probably the switch. Make sure it is receiving and passing power. Make sure fuse #14 is receiving power. Here is a guide to help you test it.
the drivers side power window just quit,. when I push the up/down switch I can hear the relay clicking.
I have no Idea of how to remove the door panel, or how to replace the motor.
Do you guys have pictures of How to do this??
Thank YOu In Advance!

There will be a few plugs on the door panel that hide screws, especially on the door handle. If there are no screws around the edge then the panel will pop off the door. If you start at the bottom you will be able to see under it for the clips. Try to help the panel off by prying next to the clips with a long screwdriver unless you want o buy a panel trim tool.

Ford has a lot of trouble with windshield leaks that drip water onto the GEM module on the left side of the dash. That applies to the pickup trucks but it's worth considering on your vehicle too.

My window is in the down position and the motor is burned out. I bought a replacement motor for the window, however, the clearance between the motor and the window is so tight I can barely fit my hand in there to remove it. Is there a way to raise the window so I am able to replace the motor?

Not without removing the track or the motor. Are you sure the motor is bad? Have you made sure there is power to it when you try to put it up? Also, the OEM motor should be rivited to the door. If you remove the rivits, the motor will move and you then can raise the window. (NOTE: I can't remember if there is a coil type spring that can come undone on your year, so be aware of that possibility.)
LEt me know.
