Hello Big B

Lets start with the basics, does the engine have fuel pressure and spark, here is a guide that will help.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/car-cranks-but-wont-start

But I need to say there is an auto shut down relay that goes bad in these cars.

Here is a guide to help you test the relay

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-an-electrical-relay-and-wiring-control-circuit

Here is the relay location (below)

try a security system reset see link. then if that does not work have amechanic scan for codes as it may be the TPIM module not allowing it to. also, check the ASD relay by switching with another known good relay.

I changed the crankshaft sensor and it started, but kept shutting back off and after a few times it would not start at all.

Was the crankshaft position sensor damaged visually? Also have you checked for spark after it would not start again?

I'm thinking that it might be the computer, this is what it's doing, and you can give me your opinion on it, when I erased all of the codes it runs fine until the check engine light comes back on then it quits, erase the codes, runs fine again, I've changed the cam shaft sensor, the crank shaft sensor, no differents, do you think it's the computer?

Hello, I have read other posts of this problem. I had both fuel pumps replaced and a new battery. My son is trying to connect a new ground wire from the battery to the transmission. But he cannot get the bolt/screw off the transmission to connect the wire. What tool does he need to get the bolt off?

Hello,

He can use any good ground location on the transmission or engine block or cylinder head. He will need a 14mm or 15mm socket or wrench.

Please let us know what happens.

Cheers, Ken

Use a test light or meter to see if the starter is receiving power at the big lug. Also see if it getting power at the small lug when the key is turned. Make sure the power and ground cables are tightened securely at the battery. Also make sure the ground cable is securely attached to either the frame or the engine block.

I looked around the computer box on the car and found that a big ground wire was off and in the wiring harness there was a blue wire that was smashed and broke, I fixed the ground wire, didn't start, that's when I noticed the blue wire, I haven't fixed it yet it got dark on me, so that's where I'm at so far, do you have anything?

It just makes one click, but if you take the relay out it turns over but will not start. if you jump the relay but when you put the relay in just one click.

try a security system reset and try cleaning battery terminal ends they may be dirty and cause security to engage. See link.

Chrysler Pacifica 2004, Heat/Cool Fan not running. When I turn on the Climate Control system I hear a very soft hum instead of the usual loud fan. Everything looks normal except that no air comes out. All lights are there as if nothing is wrong. Also no air comes out from the back seat vents. Sometime in the past I had this happen but I simply turned off the system and then turned it back on and things went back to normal. Any hints?

I'd have to get at the fan and check for voltage and ground, key on, hvac on. Green wire is voltage and black is ground. If you have good voltage and ground with no blower movement, suspect the blower motor. You can check hvac trouble codes, see if anything shows up?
