Runs badly at 2,000 rpm's

The kick panel is where you foot would lean against, in front of the door. When you are in the driver's seat with the door closed, lean your left foot to the left and you will touch it.

Oh okay, so i have to move the door panel inside is the ground wire?

I am in my truck on the driver side . I am leaning my left foot on the left side . Do i have to remove door panel?

There should be a panel behind where the parking brake would be on most cars. The door panel is behind the kick panel. I found the attached picture online. To the left of the person's foot is the kick panel. You can see the hood release is mounted to it.

I found the ground wire it was on the left side screw . My truck cranks then will off it then it on faster . Not sure what could be the problem . Been park here for two months . I do not know if its my fuel pump but i do here like a whistle or a z sound so its work . Could it be my starter , fuel pump , fuel regulator , fuel tank wires , fuel injector? i am just not sure what is wrong with it .

I change my idle air control , mass air flow sensor and throttle position sensor . My timing is good too.

If it has been parked for two months I would check the battery voltage. A low battery will cause a lot of problems. Also, just hearing the pump means nothing. You need to do the pressure test as posted earlier to verify that you actually are getting fuel at the correct pressure and volume. Check that first. Then go through the testing as has already been posted by Joe.

Do you know where my fuel pressure regulator located on a 1994 Nissan hard body v6?

Hi:

The regulator is on the fuel rail system. It will have a vacuum line going to it and a fuel line.

Disconnect the vacuum hose to confirm there is not fuel in it. If there is, the regulator is bad. I attached a picture of it. It's not the best picture, but it's the one from the manual.

If my fuel injectors make like a knocking noise or like a clicking noise means its working but can it also be that one of it or more can be clogged up? Because my truck is slowly starting.

It is normal for them to make a ticking noise. If it has a delayed start, it's usually related to fuel pressure or a weak ignition spark.

I just want to find out is there any guide or how to remove an intake manifold from a 1994 Nissan hardbody v6 3.0l ? Just so i can check the fuel pressure regulator and injectors.

You check the fuel pressure with the intake on. As for the injectors you don't need to check them until you verify that you even have the correct fuel pressure. Plus you say it runs, so the injectors are working.

It cranks for about five seconds then starts right up . I turn it off then it starts right back up without it cranking . I need to buy me a fuel pressure regulator or is there like a bolt where i can tell the pressure is good or not?

Okay, that would be an issue with the one way check valve in the pumps pressure line to the engine. The long crank is because the fuel is draining back out of the lines. When you first turn on the key the pump will run for a couple seconds to make up for the normal pressure loss, in your case the normal pressure isn't there so you crank it, the oil pressure signals the ECM which turns on the pump. It then has time to fill the lines and the truck starts. Then if you start it soon after it will start because there is now fuel in the line.

Easy test for this. Wait a day or whatever time it takes for the long crank start. Now get in and only turn the key to the on position, don't try to start it yet. Turn the key back off, then on again. Repeat it once more. Now try to start it. If the pump is losing pressure then this will run the prime cycle three times and it should start up like it should.

If it still has to crank then go find the fuel pump relay under the hood and be sure it is working when you turn the key on. It is very possible the pump is starting to fail and causing the relay to as well.

If the first test makes it start up then you need to replace the check valve in the fuel feed tube.

Any advise why my trucks rpm is too high? It still cranks then ten seconds it will start up . I drove it on the road very smooth not bugging out or anything only when i let go of the gas pedal . But when i press on the gas pedal RPM is way too high and it just stays 4,000 when i am driving whiling pressing on the gas pedal. not sure why it does that then it goes back down fast to 1,000 below in the middle which it is normal for my truck. Need help

How do you fix or adjust a idle? While driving RPM is 4,000 but when i let go of gas pedal RPM drop down to 600 to 1,000 which is normal . Idle is way to high while driving . Any help or advise?

Idle speed should be controlled by the idle air control valve (IAC). I did find directions for testing and adjusting. See picture 1.

It's odd that it idles but when driving, it is high. Are you sure nothing is sticking, carbon holding the throttle plate open, IAC dirty?

Same problem with my truck. It cranks long then starts right up then when i turn it off i on it back it starts up right away like before not sure whats the problem.

The only thing I can think of at this point is there has to be fuel pressure drop off. Just for the heck of it, try this.

1) Turn key to the run position (engine off) and count to three.
2) Turn the ignition off
3) Repeat numbers 1 and 2 a total of three times.
3) See if will start after cycling the key.
