Use a scanner that shows live engine data. If you don't have one, take it to somebody that does, or borrow one. That's all I know left to do.

I had a screw stuck under the intake. I got if from under it and put it back together but it still idles at 2,000 RPM's. When I put it in gear, it idles right.

I think that it has something to do with the intake gasket. I used the intake from the 94 SLS but the gaskets were different. I think it's sucking air from under the intake gaskets.

Yes, unmetered air may cause the idle to go up. The engine has to get air from somewhere, if you block the air intake, it shouldn't run.

I tightened on the intake until I got the RPM's to go down to 1,500 but I can hear air coming from somewhere and I think that's where it's coming from. How could I fix that if the gaskets don't match.

You could probably use some gasket sealer on the intake, need to remove.

They have gasket maker in a tube, like silicone. You can use it in places where the gasket doesn't fit correctly. I don't know if it will ever seal, correctly?
