One headlight works then shuts off when hi beams are on

the connection is your problem not the switch.can u tie rap the connecter to tighten the connection.hook it up and use a screw driver from the back of the connecter.push the wire connecter onto the switch good.gl

A better way would be to bend the terminals closed sounds like you have one bent open.Can you post the connector opening where it plugs into the switch?

I'll try these things could save me 400 bucks
