You apparently jumpered the start circuit and got it running. Good job. Try jumpering the two wires for the cruise control, purple and brn/wht and see what happens.
James,
I jumped both sets of wires.... The ones you asked me to try. I took the truck out. Everything works perfectly ....Except it does not seem to want to shift. The tach starts going up and at 45 mph it does not shift and drop down. The only other thing I noticed is that the instrument cluster indicator for Park, drive , neutral , ect is not lit up. Example. When I use the column shifter to change from Park to drive, there is not an indicator for me to see in the cluster...
Is there any hope to get it to shift in your opinion without pulling out the dash and rewiring it?
Thank you very much for your help.
