I've replaced the stop light switch and replaced fuses per another 2CarPros question (Stop lamp, ECU 4 and PDM2). I'm just trying to see if anyone has any more ideas.

Hello,

Sometimes people get stuck on the power side of a circuit, because let's face it, we think of electrical power that operates things, but the power side of a circuit is only half of the circuit. For a circuit to be complete and allow the flow of electricity, it has to have a path back to the ground, or negative battery terminal in a vehicle. This could be a problem with Ground GM01, which is on the top left of the dash panel. Please check this Ground and make sure that it is clean, tight, free of corrosion, and making good metal to metal contact. Get back to us with what you are able to find out. I have also included in the diagrams down below the wiring diagrams for your brake light circuits.

Thanks,
Alex

Thank you for the answer. This may sound like a stupid question but where would I find this ground? I found one coming off the battery and another one coming off the engine itself. But I don't see what appears to be the ground for the electrical components.
