Would I need a new water pump or a new alternator?

It's making noise on the same side of the water pump and the alternator.

Good morning,

Can you upload a video of the noise so I can hear it?

I attached a diagram for you. I would remove the drive belt and make sure the noise is gone.

If it is, then spin the alternator and the pulley and see where the noise is coming from.

Thank you so much. I took my car to the shop this morning 11/6/2020 and the water pump is bad. so I'm getting a new water pump today 11/6/2020.I would like to say thank you 2CarPros.
