Won't start after replacing harmonic balancer

I have a 1990 olds delta 88 and the car ran perfect before replacing the harmonic balancer, then it wouldn't start. Started just fine before I replaced balancer? Installed balancer lining up with keyway. Was I supposed to do something else? HELP?

check to see If you disconnected crank sensor that is right by balancer or if you smashed it putting balancer back on. or did the old balancer have a wheel for the sensor that you didn't put on the new balancer

Had to buy another crank sensor now it will start and run fine in park but has no power when put in gear and stalls. Does the balancer have to be in a certain position???

they will only go on one way recheck to see if the timing ring is on right.
