drove car from Oregon to Ca and the upper intake gasket failed and the car thermostate stuck closed and the car got hot and started misfiring, it started sucking water threw the the upper plenunum and drowned all cylinders and car wouldnt start and i had car towed to the shop and the told me the fans stopped working and the thermo stuck along with the plastic elbows from the tensioner had bad o-rings and had a small leak so there for not a closed system and was a part in car loosing fluid and overheating... so after i had car headgaskets done and car reassembled the car had some blowen fuses that where replaced and the car wont turn over..we are not getting spark or power to the starter coil fuse on drivers side inside dashboard, both BCM and PCM recieve power and the secury light was on for awhile before car blew a gasket and then went off,i never fund reason it came on it went off after i disconnected batter when i did both wheel bearing HUB assemblies, assuming it just reset computer not fix the problem... with the security light that is... so after gaskets replased no start?could be the PASSKEY Security feature or the BCM?nut the BCM bets power at the Fuse? #2AMP fuse for start coil not getting power supplied to it(drivers side dashboard)
was thiking the CRANK POSITION SENSOR but the PCM fuse inside recieves power so Crank shaft position has to be working Right? or could it be the ICM-Ignition control module/ or are they both one in the same? eiather way a simple head gasket fix has turned into a endless test of various ignition trouble shoots... any help with this 3.8 v6 will be helpful.. also while heads where off the pistons and ylinder walls where decarboned to new looking order...could i have froze piston rings in place? i dripped some oil in the cylinders and tried to fire her up and nothing just turnes over and once back fired and i checked firing order it was correct...i have a k code v6 03' impala ls

try resetting security system first if still not starting scan for codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge.
