Will not start reading that it is still in reverse?

First off it reads that it is still in reverse second you can turn the car on but it will not start all the lights come on radio etc., all my Dashboard symbols come on and when I push brakes and try to start it the horn honks.

Hi,

If the vehicle thinks it is in neutral, it won't start. Are you able to shift it to any other gear position? If so, put it in neutral to see if it will start.

If you are unable to shift to any other gear, have a helper shift through the gears while you watch to see if the shifter lever is being moved by the shift cable. This is on the top portion of the transmission. See pics below.

Try this and let me know what you find.

I have seen the gear range sensor go out and cause this issue FYI.
