Serpentine belt broke on my vehicle. I was going seventy mph down the highway. We have replaced the belt but now truck will not start. It is cranking like it is trying so hard but just will not turn over. Battery light is on. Theft light is blinking slowly. We have tried to jump it and nothing. I cannot hear fuel pump turn on when i turn key and we have reset fuel pump. Would that belt breaking cause fuel pump To go out? It did cut a wire in half when it broke but we have taped the wire back up.
