I have had the same issue happened about a month ago and the engine light turned on but literally on my way to AutoZone to check the light out it turned off. Guy there told me he cant check light if it's not on. Left it at that, problem didn't happened after that at all. It would take a sec to turn on here and there but nothing over 3 seconds. But today in the morning it didn't turn on until 30 minutes of trying. Got to work everything okay even went for lunch now just getting out of work and this happens after 20 minutes of trying now the dashboard lights turn on but no sound or crank at all. Have waited 30 minutes gave it a break still no sound at all.

Hello,

This is an intermittent problem, 99% sure electrical, that fixes itself by your vehicle hitting a bump,etc.. They can be extremely hard to pinpoint because your vehicle does need to be experiencing it, in order for someone to be able to fix it. You can't fix something if you don't know what's wrong with it, right? There is a possibility that your vehicle could have this Direct Trouble Code[DTC] stored in the pending DTC location. If so, it should be able to be pulled up with a code reader so it could be addressed. Please check and get back to us with what you find out. Thank you for responding! I had a mechanic check it he said he is sure it's the starter. But not 100% sure. He said my manufacturer should have warranty.

This is not a problem with the starter, although I agree, it should be under warranty. In the diagrams down below I have included the Technical Service Bulletin for your vehicle for the inhibitor switch from the vehicle manufacturer. You will want to contact your local dealership and inquire about this recall and get back to us with what you find out, please.
