The car will not start, I hear a click?

i turn on the air in my car and turn it off when i get out to go in the store and when i get in the car it won't start. i hear a click and all the lights everything still come on, but it won't start if i don't use the air it will start every time.

The engine will heat up a little more with the air on and this can affect the starter motor but to be sure let's use a test light on the trigger wire to see if it gets power when the key is in the crank position. This guide can help, and I have included how to change the starter motor out in the images below.
