Will not shift into reverse

It will not shift into reverse at all. How to figure out why and or how to check the reverse solenoid? Or figure out what else could be causing this problem?

Good evening

Reverse has no control solenoid. This is a mechanical operation, not an electrical operation.

Do all the gears shift out in forward?

Yes, all other gears work fine, it just will not shift into reverse.

Okay. Then you have an internal failure in the transmission. It will have to be removed and inspected for the failure.
