After shifting the transmission into driver and pressing on the accelerator the engine revs, but the car does not move?

You may have a broken CV axle, or the transmission is bad but i would check the level and condition of the fluid and then run the codes to see what comes up.

You can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) which will work on most cars from Amazon.
