Wobble on front that starts at low speeds?

Hi,

I'm struggling to see what you described other than a bit nearest the transmission. Is there any play in that CV joint? Also, for the wheel to wobble, I would say it has to do with the hub bearing.

With the wheel on but off the ground, can you wiggle it in any direction?

No play at all in the wheel while installed. I thought it was a suspension part but didn't see anything other than the inside wibble. No noise while driving.

The CV joint itself may be faulty. That is the only place I noticed movement. If you safely secure the vehicle, lift that wheel off the ground and install safety stands.

With the engine off, reach into the inner CV joint and see if there is play in it.

Also, when you say wobble, is it an up and down feeling or side to side?

By wobble i mean the movement of the axle in a noncircular typical motion like it should. Whatever is in the video, not sure if it's up down or what.

I saw it in the video. I was wondering while driving which direction the vehicle was moving from the wobble. Now that I'm saying it, it doesn't make sense to me either. LOL

Car doesn't move to any direction while moving. Just a lot of vibration which feels like a bent wheel.

Okay, then the first suspect would be the inner CV joint since we can see the movement. I assume you have also inspected the rear wheels/tires.

Have you been able to check if there is play in the inner joint as mentioned above?

I did not check the rear wheels. The tires look new with no issues. I don't see play in the inner joint but the only front wheel that moves like this is this one.

I have seen the tire come apart internally which can be tough to see. Did you drive the car once you rotated the tires from front to rear?

I replaced the axle and it has gotten better and I don't see wobble while in the air. But now the feeling is only present at take off at very low speeds, no shaking in the steering just in the front left, put rear on front and I still feel some but not sure if it's the same degree.

Low speed wobbles are usually the tire or CV axle. Since you say the tires are okay I would swap out the CV axle, her is how. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

If the tire is good and the axle is new, the only other thing I can think of would be a bushing or steering component that is allowing excessive movement.

I know you have checked front end parts. What have you checked as far as steering and suspension components? Were you able to check the control arm bushings?
