No spark

I have no spark from coil or spark plugs.

Hi Pullinhairout,

When you replaced the coil, did that come with the igniter? As you can see from the description below, the igniter is responsible for interrupting the current to the primary coil which delivers your voltage spike for the secondary coil to deliver the high current spark to the plugs.

The other thing you will see in the diagram, is the pick up coil. In other words this is the crankshaft sensor. If you have no crank signal then there is a chance that the pick up has failed. As the starter turns the engine the crank signal is delivered to the ECU and if the ECU is not receiving it then it will not send the signal to deliver the spark.

If you have a crank signal and the coil and igniter are good, then most likely your ECU is the issue.
