i removed a deisel moter from my truck and installed a 350 gas motor . my question is the wire that hooks from hot batter post does it connect to the alternataor or the post on fuse box or the relay on fire wall right now i have it hooked to the relay on fire wall and every thing seems to work but when i run my fan after a min. it kills all juice to every thing for about 15 sec. and the fan has to be off. and my overdrive isnt working and it shifts real quick thanks

Regardless how the wires run, you need to have 12 volts to the fuse box and to the large stud on the back of the generator. It doesn't matter where those wires are connected to each other but there is typically a bolted-in fuse or a fuse link wire in the circuit going to the generator. Measure the voltages at those two places to be sure they're connected to the battery.

the blower itself may be bad. have the draw checked to confirm.
