RUN A CONTINUITY TEST FROM THE "2 SIDE" TO THE "3 SIDE"

"HARBOR FRIEGHT" HAS DIGITAL VOLTMETERS STARTING AT $5-AUTO PARTS STORES ABOUT $20................A 12 VOLT TEST LIGHT $3-$20

I'VE USED A FLASHLIGHT---TURN ON THE FLASHLIGHT, REMOVE THE TAIL END, USE JUMPER WIRES FROM THE BODY---ANOTHER TO THE END OF THE BATTERY---------TOUCHING THE JUMPERS TOGETHER WILL LIGHT UP THE LIGHT.........TOUCHING THEM TO EITHER END OF SOMETHING CONDUCTIVE.....WILL TURN IT ON TOO

WAH-LAH! INSTANT AND CHEAP CONTINUITY TESTER!

not sure what cont test would tell mee......................anyway i put it together and followed my instinct and paired the bare wire with one of the two---------problem solved.......................thanks for your input!

SORTA THOUGHT IT WOULD TELL YOU IF THE 3 WERE SEPARATE AND ONE WAS UNUSED

OR WHICH 2 HAD THE SAME CONTINUITY TO WHICH PIN ON THE OTHER SIDE
