I have the truck listed above that has no power locks/windows. I recently was told GM wire some trucks with a harness even if it wasn't installed with that option. I removed kick panel and door panel and there are wires in wire loom (looks factory/aged) but they don't go to anything. Colors are as follows. White or possible light brown can't really tell because of age of wire green, blue, dark brown and black. Can someone tell me what these wires possible are and which ones are what. I plan to do power windows/locks? Any help will be greatly apricated.

Hi,

If you look below, pic 1 is the wiring schematic for the power door locks. Picture 2 is the schematic for the power window circuit.

Both of these are for a regular cab (2 door). If you have a quad cab, the schematics are different.

Take a look through the pics and let me know if they help you identify what you are seeing.

Take care,

Joe

I have an extended cab (still 2 door) not a quad cab. Will this be the same?

Hi,

They should be correct because the rear doesn't have windows that can be opened, correct?

However, I attached the schematic for the 4 door as well. If you are unable to find wires related to the first ones I sent, check these as well.

Let me know what you find.

Take care,

Joe

Okay, sorry for all the questions, but i found an uncut/unmolested power lock/power window OEM wire harness. I also found the door switches with all wires and connectors. If i am correct "theoretically" the OEM wire harness should be plugged and play since all parts/connections are uncut correct. I sound be able to plug in window regulator/door lock actuator and then plug in other two ends to OEM wire harness in boot run ground and power on the harness and everything should work, correct?

Hi,

No need to be sorry for asking questions. That's why I'm here. LOL

In theory, yes it would work. Just make sure the power supplies are present as shown in the schematics.

If you have questions, let me know. I'll try my best to help from here.

Take care,

Joe
