I ran into a issue on a regular power window that had a glued on mount on the glass that attaches to the window regulator. I ended using some JB Weld clear epoxy got it from auto zone. It is syringe type that mixes as you push the plunger. Worked great! with your case you might have to out on a spring clamp to hold it in place till the glue sets up.
