WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM BROKEN

What is the name of the part and how do i fix it? I have a 2007 ford freestar and the entire wiper has broken off on the driver side. It is attached to black plastic type of material where can i find this part to fix it?

A pic would help, otherwise a trip to a local wrecker should have the part, i am thinking that it is either the wiper arm, or the pivot regulator that has broken, but from your description it is a bit hard to tell.
