Windshield replacement compatibility?

Hello,

I have a slight crack in my windshield and after reviewing online as well as calling around looking for a possible quick fix I have come to the conclusion that I have to replace it. Which windshields would fit in the place of my own? I know any Dakota within the same generation would work, that's not the question. It's more so a question of what other Dodge trucks used the same or similar windshield.

Here is the information I found on this problem. I would call auto dismantling yards, but I must tell you most of the time a windshield will get broken when being removed.

Same Generation Dakotas: As you've correctly noted, other Dodge Dakotas from the same generation (1987-1996) will have compatible windshields.

Dodge Full-Size Trucks: Sometimes, manufacturers use similar or the same windshield designs for their vehicles within a close size and class range. For Dodge trucks of that era, this could potentially include the Dodge Ram of similar years. However, this is not a guarantee, as even slight differences in body design can mean windshields are not interchangeable.
