Has power but does not turn over

the starter will fit if the bolt pattern is the same not crosswise as some are and others are straight across. check your security system or another key if you have one not a new key as that has to be programmed to your car. I am assuming you are talking about the 1996 vehicle not starting. also check battery for condition including load test most places do for free.
