Hi. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
I bought a brand new 2016 Nissan Rogue SL in October, 2015. The car literally has only 3500 miles on it right now. I have a hair line scratch in my passenger side Head Lights that I think I did accidentally while shoveling snow around the car. It is a very thin scratch but it is definitely nail deep and you can see it. I realize I am being completely insane about it, but it is a brand new car and it is bothering me. So I want to get it fixed. I have two options - 1. Let the dealership try and smooth it out. 2. Replace the whole part minus the bulbs (They are LED lights). Obviously option 1 is way cheaper. But I am afraid it will haze out the headlight if they try to sand the scratch out or whatever it is they are going to do, and then it will look different from the other headlight. I just want both headlights to look exactly the same when all is said and done. What should I do?

Try using one of the headlight haze repair kits on the market they sand the headlight down anyhow.

Thanks. But will that make the headlight look different from the other? That is my main concern. I need both headlights to look the same. I do not want one of them to look hazier than the other. If that is the case, then I would rather replace the whole part with a brand new one that will look the same as the other one.

It should not. If you do not like how it turns out then you can take to dealer or get another one.
