Right now I'm driving a 98 blazer s10 4 wheel drive v6 engine and I'm thinking of buying a 97 GMC jimmy same v6 engine pretty much same everything except the tranny is bad. I was told that the transmission was interchangeable with the transmission from my blazer so the plan is to just drop the tranny and replace it.. question is: a) will it work? b) how hard is it? and c)how long will it take ?
