In China, driver's seat is on the left but in New Zealand it is on the right. Will a left side mirror from China work on my car in New Zealand?

In most cases, a left side mirror from a country where the driver's seat is on the left (e.g., China) will not work correctly on a vehicle in a country where the driver's seat is on the right (e.g., New Zealand). This is because the orientation of the mirror is designed to match the driver's line of sight and the traffic conditions in the specific country.

If you were to install a left side mirror from a left-hand drive country on a right-hand drive vehicle, the mirror's field of view and adjustment angles would likely be incorrect. This could lead to reduced visibility and compromised safety for the driver, as the mirror would not provide an accurate view of the surrounding traffic and road conditions.

To ensure proper visibility and safety, it's recommended to obtain the correct side mirror designed for the specific country's driving configuration. In this case, you would need to find a right-side mirror designed for a right-hand drive vehicle in New Zealand. If you need to replace or upgrade your side mirror, make sure to source the appropriate part to match your vehicle's configuration and the traffic regulations of your country.
