Stereo does not work

Or A/C or heater heater will turn on occasionally. radio has a cassette deck and back. I really need to get this stuff working. I don't know how to get it to work.

Hi,

Unfortunately these radios are pretty much self contained items and they just send the signal out to the speakers. I attached the wiring diagram so you need to check and see that it has B+ and ground. If it does, then the unit is most likely the issue.

However, if it were me, I would get a conversion kit and replace it with a more modern radio. They are cheaper in most cases and provide more options then trying to find a stock unit and replace it.
