I went in for emissions testing and failed due to "Systems Not Ready". I have a scan tool that shows monitor status and all will set to ready but they reset to "Not Ready" or "Incomplete" when the engine is shut off. I can not find any information about this situation after many searches.
The fact that the monitors will and do become ready indicates that all the criteria is being met to pass the individual tests.
The battery is brand new as are the cables and terminals. Alternator is six months old and generating 14.3V. Battery and fuse block are receiving 14.3V as well. No fuses are blown. No DTC's of any kind (stored, pending, etc.) No other data is lost when the engine is shut off i.e., Radio does not require security code, all radio presets are retained, clock retains current time, etc.
I am completely stumped and frustrated that I am unable to find any info regarding this situation. Please help!
Thank you,
