White smoke from radiator and overheating

Hi, I have a 2003 subaru Impreza and i took it took the shop because a leak in the big hose thats in the front of the radiator and once i did that everything was fine but after a few hours my check engine light went on and it made this loud noise that would go on and off, it sounded like a clogged fan. Then when im driving home there is white smoke coming out of my hood and exhaust pipe but after a few minutes it stopped coming from the exahust pipe as much and was mostly in the hood. I go to look in the hood and my antifreeze was everywhere.
