I noticed white smoke or vapor coming from the AC vents when AC is on. When I change setting to recirculating air from inside of car as opposed to outside the smoke or vapor stops. Dealer service adviser told me it was because it must have been humid outside. I said, "What if I lived in Florida where it is humid all the time? Would I have to just tolerate this?" The look on his face was priceless, but he still could not answer my question or solve the problem.
Help!

Good evening.

The first thing I would do is check the pressures. If the low side pressure is incorrect, it will approach icing and you will get a mist from the evaporator.

Is there water coming out the case to the ground with the AC running?

Sometimes there is water on the ground under the Jeep after it is parked. I am taking it to a different dealer to have them check it out. Should I mention about checking the pressures both high and low side? I really do not know what that means! LOL. I am not a mechanic by any means.
Thanks for your help.

They should know enough to check the pressures as far as the diagnostic tests.

Ask them for that information. They should note it on your work order.
