White smoke

My Saxo was sat up before I brought it and I got it working and white smoke comes from the exhaust even when I run it for 40-60 mins it isn't loads of smoke what could the problem be

White smoke is a sign of burning engine coolant, typically due to a leaking cylinder head gasket. Your mechanic can perform a chemical test at the radiator to verify that.
