shifts in and out of park with no issues, no jerks or noise. Whenever torque is sustained on transmission, whether going straight or up a hill, it produces a "whining" or "screaming" noise. Rolling with no acceleration is quiet. Transmission seems to shift fine, just has this loud whining noise. Possible torque converter going bad? Something else? Thanks.

Hello,

A whining transmission is typical caused by a plugged fluid filter. I would try to service the transmission to see if that helps, here is a guide to help you get the job done.

Please let us know what happens.
