Where shoud I plug the pvc line in at?

I just bought a 1979 1 ton GMC 4X4 with a 454 and after taking it for about an 90 mile drive, I had oil on the drivers side frame rail and oil dripping from the starter on the passenger side. I found where the oil leak on the passenger side is coming from a filter that is plugged in to the valve cover. The oil on the drivers side is coming from the pcv hose that is just hanging down on the side of the engine. The engine has a double pumper Holley carb and I have no idea where to plug the pcv line on too. Every time I try to accelerate, the engine stumbles and almost dies and then it comes to life and runs ok. So my question is, where is the best place to plug the pcv line in at and will that take care of the oil leaks and the hesitation problems?

You can put it anywhere you have full vacuum on a large port but I would suspect that was unplugged for a reason. It may have so much blowby that it was fouling the engine out.

So what can be causing the excessive blowby and how can it be fixed?

That would mean it's just a worn out engine that would have to be replaced.
