vehicle speed sensor A location

There should be a tag attached to the transmission. it will have some numbers on it that will identify the model.

I currently do not have the vehicle with me, do a2 and u3 have it in different locations? I checked behind the engine driver side where the 2003 has it but this 2004 does not have it there. Looked on all data and Mitchell and it tells me that same spot but there is no sensor there!

Alldata asks for for the transmission type. that is what I am using let me check.

Really if I remember all I put was a automatic .

Is this a 1ZZ or 2ZZ motor?

Should be a 1zz

I cannot find any diagrams on the sensor location which is strange but I did find the wiring diagrams which show the color wires going to it and the description of where it is. On top of the tans axle.
