Where is the transmission drain plug located

I am checking the transmission level and it is showing that it has way too much fluid in there. my dad has dementia and often adds too much fluid to everything he possibly can.But now it is not shifting properly and jerking all the time.

It would be right on the transmission pan on the bottom of it had one which most do not have.

That is correct, those vehicles do not have a drain plug. Try going to a quick lube center and see if they can suck some of the fluid out. If they do not do it because they do not want to be liable for any damage then go to a store like harbor freight and buy a hand held fluid extractor. Get a hose about two to three feet long and suck some of it out yourself to the correct level.

Another option would be is to just drop the pan and install a new filter and gasket and fill to the proper level.
